Triana is considered to be the most popular quarter in the city because it has a very strong identity. The “Trianeros” (inhabitants of Triana) are convinced they live in an independent territory, separated from the rest of Seville: they go and have a coffee in Seville and come back to Triana for lunch. When they travel abroad, they better say they’re trianeros and not sevillanos. They have their own areas inside of the quarter and their own typical professions. Triana is a place for bullfighters, flamencos and famous singers…

“Knowing Triana” aims to help discover this quarter through its crafts (pottery, ceramic, painting, fans), its bullfighters and its flamenco.

This will be a great experience for the participants to be able to live those different professions with their own hands!
